Why Choose TikTokPage Tools
Scan first, measure second
The SNDWAY SW-6100GT is built around the real workflow used on site. Before you drill, fix or cut into a wall, this wall material detector helps you check for hidden live wiring and metal. Once the area is clear, the same unit becomes a laser room measuring tool for distance, area and volume work, saving time when you are fitting out rooms, planning runs or preparing quotes.
Professional capability without carrying two tools
Unlike a basic stud finder distance meter or entry-level laser measure, this professional 2-in-1 device is designed to reduce kit duplication while supporting more of the job. It is especially useful for electricians marking fixing points, kitchen installers setting out units, carpenters checking room dimensions and surveyors measuring internal spaces. The combined wall detector and laser measure format means one device can move with you from hazard check to final measurement.
Made for practical UK interior work
On refurbishment and maintenance jobs, walls are rarely straightforward. Plasterboard may hide metal pipes, cable routes or framing, while masonry surfaces often need careful checking before drilling. This wire and metal wall scanner is suited to occupied homes, offices and interior trade environments where safer fixing matters. The laser function supports long-range measurement up to 120 m, giving you useful reach for rooms, corridors and installation runs.
A stronger choice for trade buyers
For buyers comparing Bosch or Zircon options, the value here is the workflow-led approach: detect concealed hazards first, then measure straight away with the same tool. That makes the SW-6100GT a smart upgrade for anyone looking for a wall scanner with laser distance meter professional enough for everyday trade tasks, while still portable enough for routine site use.

Customer Reviews
I bought this for kitchen fitting work and the scan-first function has already saved me from drilling into a cable route on a refurb. The 120 m laser is more than enough for room checks and long cabinet runs.
Used it while planning sockets and wall-mounted units in a rental property. The wire detection gave me confidence before chasing, and the area calculation made quoting much quicker.
From a surveying point of view, it is a handy indoor tool for quick dimensions and hazard checks in occupied buildings. The display is clear and the distance readings have been consistent across multiple rooms.
Solid bit of kit for joinery and partition work. It takes a little practice to get the most reliable scan result on older walls, but once you slow down your pass it works well.
Compared with carrying my older stud finder and a separate laser measure, this is simply easier. I was looking at Bosch and Zircon options, but the all-in-one setup made more sense for maintenance call-outs.
The measuring functions are excellent for shelving layouts and room planning, and delivery was quick from the UK. My only criticism is that I would have liked a hard case included at this price.
Very useful for electrical maintenance in offices where you need to work neatly and avoid unnecessary damage. Being able to scan for metal and then measure the exact run with the same tool is a real time-saver.
